A wonderful 87th Annual Installation Banquet was hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Yakima at the Clarion Hotel honoring incoming PRESIDENT RON ZIRKLE. SPENCER HATTON did a find job as our MC/Host with the Most! and Most enjoyed the lawyer jokes! We had a great turn out with many visitors and an Interclub from Selah.

Past Lt. Governors in attendance were Ken Johnson, DON DAVIDSON, MIKE WILSON and STEVE EMHOFF (also Past Governor)and Lt. Governor ROGER BELL, also a past Lt. Governor.

Immediate Old President WENDY AGUILAR who may one day be a Past President was honored among the other outgoing officer, TREASURER JOHN BENSON, and Board Member PAT DANIELSON by Ken Johnson.

LT. GOVERNOR ROGER BELL then installed our new officers and directors for 2008-2009: RON ZIRKLE, PRESIDENT; CHRISTINE COTE, PRESIDENT ELECT; LINDA HACKETT, VICE PRESIDENT; JAY CARROLL, SECRETARY; WENDY AGUILAR, TREASURER; ASST. SECRETARY, MIKE WILSON AND ASST. TREASUER, DAN MARPLES. The new Board also installed by Roger were: LORI CROW, AMY NEAL, BOB BROWN AND PAT ANDREOTTI FOR 2008-2010 AND KARL CORPRON, KIRSTEN DANIELSON, BETH KLINGELE AND KL WOMBACHER FOR 2007-2009.

We had great entertainment by sisters Kathryn Dozier-Quine and Ana Dozier-Quine and a cake for dessert prepared by their Mother, Deanna Dozier-Quine.

The Silent Auction, thanks to the many members who donated items and purchased items, brought funds in for the YWCA Playground Equipment Profect.
